~~Comes in Newer Hardshell Case!~~ Up for auction is a killer 1997 Gibson Les Paul Classic Plus Translucent Amber with an unique Flame maple top!It is a discontinued model with non-chambered body so the tone is thick with singing sustain! All original and complete featuring Gibson 496R/500T ceramic pickups that can scream or growl—never losing their rich combination of enhanced lows and crystal-clear highs. Every solder joint untouched. Desirable 60s slim taper neck profile, and a solid body (unlike weight-relief that Gibson puts out now) which translates to fuller, thicker tone! This guitar is in PRISTINE cosmetic condition ~~ as close to being NEW as it gets!No scratches or dents! There is just some age patina on the nickel hardware giving it a killer vintage look. The neck is perfect and super fast. Nice easy action with no string buzz. Original frets show close to no wear! The case is in excellent condition as well. There is nothing that sounds better than a Les Paul turned way up, grinding out some hot riffs!
This guitar plays and sounds AMAZING! The ceramic pickups are hot enough to get that great 60's and 70's rock tone, yet gentle enough to back off and get some beautiful high end sparkle. Great SUSTAIN...SERIAL: 7 1XXX MADE IN USA
