The one, the only, the Elite Stratocaster. Built in the early 80s these guitars had some appointments similar to a normal Strat as well as some appointments that catered to the rockers from the era. This 83 Elite is overall in great shape and sounds fabulous. Great playability up and down the neck. Cool Strat! How cool and rare is this one? Here we have a 1964 Gibson SG Junior in its original cherry finish. This instrument was special ordered left handed and with neck biding. How do we know this? In the mid 60s you couldn’t walk into a music store and buy a left handed guitar, you had to special order one and wait sometimes several months for it. The serial puts this between 1964 – 1964, given it has the more desirable 1 11/16th nut width and nickel hardware we dated it to 1964. The guitar is shown with its original tremolo, but has been setup in house using the wrap around as the playability is much better.
