Vintage Ludwig 1971 Classic Champagne Sparkle Drum Kit22" x 14", 13" x 9", 16" x 16" Maple shells.These drums are in "player's condition". They are structurally in great condition, and the floor tom and rack tom are very good cosmetically. However the bass drum has a large number of filled extra holes and the wrap has faded considerably.None of this affects the sound however, these drums have that legendary Ludwig vintage tone that modern kits try hard to recreate. This is a proper bargain of a vintage kit!Bass Drum 22" x 14" - Serial Number 852508 As shown in the photos, there have been a lot of extra holes in this drum, which have been filled but are still quite obvious. The sparkle wrap has faded, likely due to sunlight, and there's some tape on the bass drum batter hoop to prevent damage by the pedal which we've left in place. The resonant hoop is a little out of round. The wrap is tight with just a little seam separation, and the chrome is in decent condition but with some pitting as to be expected on a vintage drum.Tom holder hole has probably had another brand fitted during its lifetime. Tom-tom 12" x 8" - Serial Number 1047982 This drum is in good condition overall, but there are a few scuffs, and some dark marks to the wrap here and there. A little bit of wrap separation and pitting to the chrome. The batter hoop is a little out of round but the drum tunes up fine. Damper present and working. Tom holder included as shown.Floor Tom 16" x 16" - Serial Number 852387 This drum is in the best condition of the three, and has the month and year stamp of April 1971, although the actual day date is illegible. Some scuffs and scratches to the wrap and to the legs.
