Up for sale, a Vox AC30 CC2X Custom Classic in excellent condition and in perfect working order. Some important info: The CC2 series was the first (now discontinued) modern reissue of the famed AC30 model, and the "X" designation means that the amp includes (2) of the highly desirable Celestion Blue 12" alnico speakers. This amp has been very well cared for and gigged a few times, and comes with the rare optional VS30 chrome amp stand! Cosmetically there are a couple of very minor scuffs (pictured), with only one noticeably white one on the amp case, however no tears or discernible wear/looseness on the grill cloth. These amps really do a nice job of capturing the classic British Invasion sound, with incredible cleans and the sweet, overdriven sizzle of EL84 power tubes. Much of the magic in this amp's sound comes from the Celestion Blue speakers, which at a cost of nearly $300 each, deliver alnico sparkle, articulation and chime like no other speaker can! I'll also include the soft padded amp case by VOX (pictured). The 2 blendable channels feature fully variable tremolo with footswitchability (footswitch not included), a custom EQ switch on the Top Boost channel, and Brilliant switch on the normal channel. Spring reverb with dwell switch, footswitchability, and tone control; plus an effects loop with full bypass and level control give you precision command over a broad range of sounds. Boutique features include switchable cathode bias for lower power and longer tube life plus switchable smoothing filter values for looser or tighter feel. Baltic birch cab, vintage-style transformers, tone cut control. Lastly, some of my favorite settings are shown via marker, however these can easily be removed before shipping if desired.
