This guitar was manufactured in Japan at the same factory (fuji-gen) that the MIJ Fender Stratocaster was made in during the mid-eighties. The same woods were used and the quality is exceptional. The original pickups and electronic components were the weak link...but that is no longer an issue. All electronics have been upgraded (Pots, Caps, Switches, Jack, etc. Factory pickups have been replaced by Seymour Duncan Rails in the bridge, JB Jr. in the neck and '59 (I believe) in the middle. This guitar is a tone machine!Original pick-guard has been replaced with custom aluminum guard from Pearl Guitars. The gloss finish on the body has been rubbed out with 2000 grit to give it a "Batmobile" mat finish. the Celtic Cross fret inlays are high quality decals but can be easily removed, if desired. Knobs are Tele style and tuners are Gotoh. The guitar spent most of it's life under a bed and the frets show very little wear. It is currently hard tailed and set up with 10-46 Fender Bullets (strings are older & should be replaced). No case.  I am looking to sell as I've got too many guitars (if there is such a thing) and would like to stay married.  And I personally prefer a thinner neck profile. A steal at $550... The pickups alone are worth over $300.
