Vintage 1970's Shure SM-56 dynamic cardioid microphone old Jim Morrison w cable
Estimated price for orientation: 565 $

Description Type: Vintage Microphone Model: SM-56 Brand: Shure Country of Manufacture: United States
The SM-56 series has a very modern, industrial and bold look to it. It's very lite weight and easy to hold for extended periods of time if need be. I'm not sure when the SM-56 was first manufactured but I believe it was in the late 1970's to early 80's. Perfect for any vocals whether it be singing or broadcasting. This is a high quality dynamic cardiod mic with uni-directional characteristics cancelling out all back ground noise. The SM-56 (like the 546 mic) has the lower built in shock mount reducing the degree of "thumps" one might experience if the stand it's mounted to is hit accidentally. It also has the adjustable impedance switch that sits under the front plate cover. A simple twist of the switch allows the user to have either High or Low Z setting depending on the sound you are trying to achieve. As you can see in the pictures provided there are almost no signs of wear on the original paint. There are just a few small scuffs in the finish but otherwise gorgeous. Let the pics be your guide please. Mic is 100% complete and solid. No loose parts. Also included is a very nice period cable that's 20 feet in length and has the newer male Switchcraft 1/4 inch end connector for use with most modern audio equipment. Cable has no damage and functions perfectly. It's a nice snug fit on this mic ensuring no loss of signal like you get with the newer XLR cables. Also included is a beautiful chrome on / off adapter that screws into the bottom of the mic and allows for a quick release from your stand with the push of the button giving the user the ability to walk around the stage with mic in hand. Adapter works perfectly and shows zero wear. Adapter's lower portion will screw on to any American desk or floor stand. Overall an excellent working mic that's way above average for a 30 year old microphone and an easy 9 + on a scale of 1 - 10. Hook this one up and you are ready for any live event. This will make a very special gift for any musician or broadcaster and one of the most collectible Shure mics of all time. As with all my microphones. I can promise you will be happy with it for the price paid. If not...I have a no hassle return policy. The return shipping will be on you as I believe that's fair but the purchase price would be refunded. Simply return in the same nice condition...period. Check my rating. INTERNATIONAL BUYERS are welcome as well. BUYER MUST PAY WITHIN 24 HOURS or will lose rights to this item, unpaid item report will be filed and will be relisted. If you don't intend on buying this...do not commit to buy please. Domestic buyer will get priority shipping. If you have any questions feel free to ask and...thanks for looking.
