Gibson J45, Excellent Guitar  Wonderful MOJO..in well played but still great shape.
The Gibson was made in Bozeman, Montana in 1998, when they were all still made well. This guitar looks about as cool as you want for a typical classic J45.

It has a decent number of various performance marks...as it was played often.
While some of the initial nitrous cellulose finish is flaking off in a few small places..it is  flaking more substantially across the back of the neck where every guitar gets the most "hand on" usage.
I have seen this on other Gibsons that age as well..and it has no effect on play-ability . That notwithstanding, the top finish has the usual.."desirable" amount of nitro spider crackling and aging...but the instrument itself is as solid as a rock with no structural cracks anywhere on the body, neck or face.
There is a slight worn area on the back that has gone through the finish but was stained over..and seen upon closer inspection. There you have it. A great well used desirable Gibson J45 with a reasonable number of playing scuffs, a few bumps, scratches and such..but a solid instrument with no structural cracks or repairs anywhere, or even surface cracks I or anyone else has seen.

The action is nice and the frets still in really great shape...with the neck strong, straight and absolutely solid..with a few gentle dips on the fret-board in a couple of the typical cowboy chord areas. The older tuners are fully functional though a touch tight to turn..the benefit of which is that they hold tuning very well...and for all this..the guitar is priced to reflect all these little age related nicks, bumps and a few finish peels as signs of abundant but truly decent use...so please purchase it with that in mind...it is not perfect...but none-the-less a great classic piece...just pick it up and play it.I will ship this instrument to USA, Canada, Australia and New Zealand only.
I will not ship worldwide as it may indicate in the shipping section...apologies.
Please contact me for rates to the countries listed. Finally, I have a J50 as well and the truss rod cover is temporarily off of that and will go back ...with the unbranded original J45 cover going back on this guitar...the J50 truss cover is not part of the sale..please note that..

Cheers
