For Auction is a 2007 Eastman ER1 Archtop guitar (#489), used and in good condition. It was purchased used from an Upstate NY guitar store in 2013 and has been sitting mostly in it's case since then. I've never gigged with it, and it's been more of an at home/practice guitar. It has a great feel and playability, and the Kent Armstrong pickup sounds great with more traditional straight-ahead jazz, and suits blues/soul/funk/pop nicely as well. It has an ebony fretboard and a lovely burst finish, with a matching burst headstock. Very lightweight, and great at suppressing feedback. Included is a hardshell case.There are some minor dings that can really only be seen with close inspection, and those are indicated in the photos. Overall the aesthetics of the guitar are not compromised by these, and the integrity and look of the guitar really shine through.
