This retro-vintage, versatile solid body electric guitar was popular in the mid-1970's. This piece was autograph by rock-a-billy artist Dave Edmunds in 2009 . Dave was playing a solo acoustic show at the State Theater in Falls Church, VA. After the show, he stayed to sign autographs and I just happened to have the Marauder in my trunk. He said in his Welsh accent, "a fine piece of work, this is. Haven't seen one of these in awhile." The Marauder is one of several models Gibson introduced in the '70s. Unlike most Gibsons, the Marauder used a bolt-on neck, and a Humbucker and blade pickups with dot inlays. This model has original Humbucker pickups and has been well-serviced with new tuners and jack receptacle (all work was done by a professional guitar shop). Other features: aftermarket whammy bar, two control knobs, three-way pickup selector, white pickguard, and a stopbar tailpiece; single cutaway solidbody.Notable Marauder Players: Ron Wood, Thurston Moore, Ace Fraley
