This is your opportunity to own a rare, original white Steinberger GM5T that was built in Newburgh, New York. This is one of the cleanest examples of a white GM5T that we have ever had in our inventory. This guitar was just fully restored and set-up by Jeff Babicz, who was the former head of production at the Steinberger Sound factory. Jeff refretted the neck and mirror-polished the frets, rebuilt the TransTrem and serviced the electronics. Jeff rebuilt the original TransTrem with new bearings and spring and also burnished the roller saddles, so it now transposes correctly and returns to zero properly. This guitar does have a few very tiny marks, but nothing that affects its performance or playability. A beautiful and super-rare guitar that's just been serviced by the world's top Steinberger tech and is now ready for the next 25 years of service. It plays and performs as well as (probably better than) the day that it first left the factory.This Steinberger GM5T guitar will ship in a new HeadlessUSA gig-bag with its TransTrem vibrato arm, a new black cotton strap, an extra set of strings, and a copy of Jeff's work-order.
