Player's Perspective Mr. Paul Reed Smith is at it again. Revolutionizing the way guitars are made, played, and in this case, priced. With the same keen eye for detail and superior level of craftsmanship that PRS has always been known for, the S2 line is nothing short of a guitar manufacturing revelation. Standing for "Stevensville 2," this line of guitars is manufactured in PRS's Maryland shop. Much like the Custom 22's we've all come to know and love, this S2 Custom 22 delivers 22 frets of pure rocking goodness. It shreds, it dive bombs, it soars, it sizzles - you get the picture. But Paul Reed Smith is all about reinventing his own designs. This semi-hollow version of the Custom 22 adds depth and warmth to an already dialed in design. The sound is equal parts bite and butter, with that rich midrange purr that makes those middle of the neck bends really speak. With a clean sound it can do dark and jazzy or bright and articulate. It's kind of like the soul of a vintage instrument in a modern design. Along with rock solid hardware, great aesthetics and a truly remarkable price, this USA-made PRS is hard to pass over. Known for its exceptional clarity and warm midrange, the S2 Custom 22 Semi-Hollow has been updated here with a semi-hollow single f-hole mahogany/maple body, giving this vintage-inspired guitar a classic look and outstanding resonance. The S2 line of guitars from PRS is manufactured in the US and is offered at a truly affordable price point. Beyond that, this line of guitars uses some of the very same components found on their more expensive models such as the nut, jack assembly, fret wire and ergonomic electronic knobs. Overall Condition This PRS S2 Custom 22 Semi-Hollow is brand new, in pristine mint condition, with absolutely no nicks, scratches, or blemishes of any kind and is being sold by an authorized dealer.
