COMPARE TO JACKON/CHARVEL CUSTOM SHOP!!!! You are bidding on a fully refinished 2012 Made in Japan Jackson KE3 Kelly Pro Series guitar that was refinished and reassembled by GMW Guitarworks. This is another sample guitar for GMW's new "CHECKERBOARD" refinish and production graphic service. The graphic consists of a solid black base for the back and sides that was paired with a silver haloflake "black hole" spiral checkerboard graphic. The multi-colored reflective 0.008" halo flake was sprayed over a silver base. Full details for this paint and graphic service can be viewed on eBay here shortly. The frets appear to be in very good shape with very little wear, and the guitar plays great. Both pickups also work perfectly, and sound loud and clear. The bridge is a Schaller style Floyd Rose double locking unit with an old school screw-in trem arm module. (The trem arm is included with the guitar.) By the time the work was completed, this finished guitar meets the standards of a Custom Shop Jackson Kelly except for the factory fret mill and dress work, which was performed elsewhere by Jackson in Japan. Therefore, no additional work was performed on the frets or rosewood fingerboard by GMW. We no longer need this sample guitar for advertising purposes, so it is being listed for sale. The guitar has NOT been used or played since being refinished, reassembled, and photographed. Therefore, there are no dings or scratches in the body paint. The finish on the back of the neck and headstock also appear to be in pretty good shape for a 5 year old guitar, with little indication of major wear and tear. Note: Other "base color" and checkerboard colors and patterns may be ordered other than the black and silver haloflake colors shown on this sample guitar. The finish you will receive matches, if not exceeds, those provided by the major manufacturers and custom paint refinishing companies. The guitar was then reassembled using new D'Addario XL 9 gauge strings. The action and intonation were also checked and adjusted as necessary. The guitar will be shipped in a "double box" format to insure a safe delivery.
