The back has a couple of chips on the back bottom edge. Nice Tobacco Sunburst finish on the flame maple top with Creme binding, pickguard and chrome hardware. The guitar is set up with a nice action and the rounded XL profile mahogany neck with a thicker rosewood fretboard has a full feel and is stable and resonant. The frets are in excellent condition with little to no playwear. The Alnico 2 '59 Tribute pickups have unbalanced windings that produce a vintage tone with good output. The guitar is equipped with a Zero fret adjustable Nut, Les Paul 100th birthday signature headstock, Les Paul Hologram and Gibson G-Force automated locking tuners. These tuners do a great job for standard tuning, you can now use drop, open and custom tunings and with the adjustable not you can set the guitar up for slide with ease. The original brass nut insert was replaced with a steel insert. Looks, plays and sounds great. Includes the original new style gold Gibson hard shell case, charger and photo of guitar final inspection at Gibson. Serial Number: 150025979 Weight: 10 lbs. 1 oz.
