If you don't know already ZUM are the Rolls Royce of Pedal Steel Guitars. This one was built mid nineties going by serial number and the info on the Zum website.Very little used I think. The guitar is truly in showroom condition, despite being 20 years old. 8 Pedal, 10 Knees. Fully loaded. The C6 A to B pedal has been sacrificed for a Franklin P4 and there is the Franklin knee for string 1 F# to G#, and Eb to E on string 2. Of course if you don't like those changes it's not hard to go back to standard. Me? I never found the C6 A to B pedal much use. C6 has everything you would expect, including a reverse F pedal, a knee to raise the Third string C to C# to match the A pedal and so on. Like wise E9 with a Bb change Emmons style. I hate to sell it, but I am gong deaf (old age) and I can no longer trust my sense of pitch. Band members are looking at me strangely. Even your best friend won't tell you.... I can't blame the guitar. I have played on and off 30 years or more. This one is near perfect in raise/lower accuracy, minimal cabinet drop and so on. Buddy may be playing a better one, but he is in Steel Guitar Heaven. Overseas buyers? Good time to take advantage of strong US $ I'd guess. The guitar is very heavy, at least 60lbs. 120x40x35 cm in case. Shipping hassles are up to you. You MUST contact me first. I will not ship OS without insurance and the buyer pays. Local (Oz) buyers we can use the usual eBay pay and play mechanisms. Pay Pal, Courier etc. I can't find how to specify this in an eBay ad. Ebay charge a fortune in commission, for costly items so the price has to include it. A chance to buy a true Pro level axe. Feel free to ask questions etc. Please don't ask me to step outside the Ebay protocols. It always leads to tears in my experience. There is a "make an offer" option, but be sensible. These are a sought after item. Recently spotted in Emmylou's band and George Strait's band.
