I am the original owner of this Martin HD28 acoustic 6-string guitar, serial number 1017769. It has been well cared for and has spent 99% of its time in my non-smoking home with climate control. It has been used, but not abused. There are a couple of small dings on the spruce top (you can see them in the pics). I also changed tuners a couple of times and upgrading to the Grotohs (note the screw holes in the back of the headstock from the antique tuners I had installed). I upgraded the pickguard and added a neckstrap button for a more comfortable fit. I also upgraded the case to a Martin specific TKL case as seen in the pictures.The sound of this guitar is rich and full. I no longer play that often, so I am looking for a home where this beauty will be well used and treated. There is no belt buckle scratches on the back. There are some pick burnishing on the pickguard, but that is expected. Shipping will be calculated at the time of the sale but I estimate between $45-$65. I live in western Connecticut (near Danbury) and would prefer a local sale. I will meet up with anyone within 75 miles of my location.
