old violinA fine old French violin after Amati - ca 1900. A nice old and authentic 4/4 French violin made ca 1900, in a lovely Amti model. A nice instrument, withe a lovely antique look.
It has a beautiful 2-piece flamed back, ribs, a fine neck, a good scroll - A well executed fine thin purfling.
The typical nice work of the French school of violin maling in Mirecourt France.
Beautiful original brown varnish/patina.
