C-Series Conn 8D with a Vintage 8D bell and Patterson lead pipe.I purchased this horn in 2011 from Richard King. At that time, Chuck Ward gave the horn a valve job and put on the new Vintage 8D bell. The horn plays wonderfully with a warm, even sound.The horn has been professionally played and taken care of as such. It has been professionally cleaned every year and I have treated it with the utmost care. I have had the thumb lever converted to a string linkage for more facility and have added a Patterson lead pipe.The price is very negotiable and I want this horn to go to a good home!
