The Furman IT-1220 20 Amp Balance Power Isolation Transformer is a specially wound and shielded toroidal isolation transformer designed specifically to reduce hum pickup by sensitive equipment when ultra-low-noise is a must.Features• Provides precisely balanced AC power for ultra-low-noise installations• Typically gives a 16 dB improvement in background noise floor in systemwide installations• Toroidal transformer with center-tapped secondary is the most efficient, compact design, with least     magnetic field leakage• Soft Start circuit prevents turn-on transients and high inrush currents• Faraday shield reduces electrostatic coupling between primary and secondary• Extreme Voltage Shutdown circuit protects against dangerously high or low input voltages• Microprocessor-controlled "smart" AC voltmeter monitors line voltage, flashes alerts for marginal and extreme conditions• Provides basic power conditioning functions (spike suppression, RFI filtering)• Ground fault interrupter (GFCI) protectionSo there you have it.  All the technical BS aside, this unit is a beast.  It does everything it claims to do and does it well!  It was installed in my Nashville, TN studio until I relocated to FL.  Why am I selling it?  Well, I'm asking myself the same question.  The truth is, I just don't have the rack space or the room for it since I downsized my studio.I purchased the IT-1220 new and it still looks new.  It also works flawlessly.  I have the original owner's manual, original packaging and I'm also including a custom 20A power extension cable.  If you don't know what a 20A device is please look at the prongs on the power cable.  I've provided a pic for convenience.  Please note *THIS UNIT WILL NOT PLUG IN TO A STANDARD 110 WALL OUTLET!!*Lastly, the shipping is $100 because when I said it is a beast I meant it.  It's HEAVY!  Good luck bidding and please feel free to ask questions if you have any.Okay, this really is the last comment.  I would like to take a second to explain something.  I personally look at other seller's feedback before I consider buying from them, and I have always been proud of having a 100% feedback rating myself.  eBay unfortunately doesn't average your feedback over your "seller life," but they average your seller feedback rating over the last 12 months.  Being I am not a "store" and all of the merchandise I sell is my personal property, I don't move enough product in 12 months to make up for one negative comment.  Now let's address that "negative comment".  The buyer's complaint was the "shipping was poor".  Since I didn't have the original manufacturer's packaging, I chose to have the UPS Store box and pack the merchandise, which incidentally was first and last time.  It was very expensive and I actually lost money on the shipping.  With that said, if the product had been damaged the buyer could have refused to accept it, submitted a complaint, informed me the shipper damaged the merchandise, etc.  That never happened, he just chose to give me a negative feedback comment.  I encourage you to look at my feedback history.  Sorry for the long dissertation but I feel like any "potential buyer" should feel comfortable with whomever they choose to purchase from.  Thank You!
