1995, 1996 FENDER STRATOCASTER LIMITED EDITION AMERICAN STANDARD W/MATCHING HEADSTOCK - COMPLETE COLLECTION OF ALL 6 GUITARS For your consideration is the complete collection of all 6 Fender Stratocaster Limited Edition American Standard Electric Guitars with Matching Painted Headstocks from 1995 and 1996. It took me over 5 years to find these beautiful and rare Stratocasters in this pristine condition to complete this collection. The colors are: Surf Green, Burgundy Mist, Ocean Turquoise, Candy Apple Red, Lake Placid Blue and Olympic White. Each color is vivid and striking. Fender used these particular colors as a tribute to the custom colors offered in the early 1960s.  And as you can see in the images, each guitar is just that. These limited edition Strats were only made available for 6 months - Fender offered 2 per every 6 months ONLY - over the period of 1 ½ years, from January 1995 till June 1996 and were discontinued in June 1996.From Fender:Model Name: Limited Edition American Standard Stratocaster With Matching Painted Headstock Model Number: 010-7400-(Color#) and 010-7402-(Color#)

They have been kept in a non-smoking, temperature controlled environment as long as I’ve owned them (5+ years) and I have never taken them on a gig. There are no scratches in the finish, dings or dents on any except for a pin-size indentation on the top side of the Olympic White (pictured). All 6 of these guitars are 100% original with no cracks, breaks, repairs or modifications of any kind and are in very excellent condition. The medium-jumbo frets are also in excellent condition. Each guitar plays exceptionally well and have nice straight 9.5" radius necks and the truss rods all work perfectly. The pickups are bright, clear, loud and have that instantly recognizable chimey Strat tone in all 5 positions. These guitars also feature the TBX Tone control for the middle and bridge pickups. From time to time you may see one of these offered on eBay or other online gear sites, but not in this totally outstanding condition. I've seen Ocean Turquoise, Burgundy Mist and Candy Apple Red on occasion, but rarely if ever will you see Surf Green, Lake Placid Blue or Olympic White, yet alone in a complete collection like this.  Scroll down for more images. (Please note due to lighting and angles there are obvious glares and the colors may vary from image to image but the finishes are absolutely 100% original with no blemishes at all on every guitar. The headstocks are exactly as the bodies).  In person these guitars are exquisite! As stated I am selling only as a complete collection of 6; I will not sell any individually. It is simply too rare to have all 6 of this limited edition series. Each guitar comes with the original Fender red label molded case. 4 of the cases will include most of the original case candy and one even has the hang tags. This series was discontinued over 20 years ago. This is a very rare and unique opportunity to acquire a complete collection of limited edition Stratocasters - rare colors with matching painted headstocks . Please look at the images closely and ask any questions you may have as I do not offer refunds. Each guitar will be meticulously and individually packed, shipped and fully insured. Shipping will be $80 per guitar ($480 in total). PayPal and lower 48 only please. 1/12/17 update: you will note on the headstock of the Candy Apple Red guitar it does not have 'Made in U.S.A.' under the Fender logo as does the other 5 guitars. I just spoke to Fender and they told me "the country of origin was omitted on some logos for no apparent reason other than the batch came that way." He did verify the serial number absolutely is that of a 1995 American Standard Stratocaster in Candy Apple Red with matching painted headstock and rosewood fretboard that was in fact made in the U.S.A. In addition, the Candy Apple Red is the only one (of the 6) that has the word "Fender" in black with a white/silver trim and the word "Stratocaster" in white on the headstock verifying the logos were that of a different batch.
