Here is a Gibson SG Classic. The Classic model has the P90 style pickups,most modern SG's have humbucker pickups. If you are looking for the real tone of an SG lets say like early Carlos Santana at Woodstock,playing Soul Sacrafice,Evil Ways or Black Mgic Woman well that is a SG with P90's.This is the gloss model,not that matt dull looking cheap thing tGibson had out to save a few bucks. Its serial No is 033227068. You can use this number to look on the Gibson site to see its age. I bought it to play some slide on, I wanted that early Allman Brothers/santana sound. As it worked out I didn't play it much,only about an hour or so,so it has no fret wear. You could call it new old stock.
