For sale is a vintage Buffet Bb ebony wood clarinet, serial number 18969 - which dates it according to manufacturer to have been made in 1935. This clarinet has 7 rings, when checking with the factory, this pre R13 model, the factory told us, it is a finer grain wood, with stronger forged keys, than they make today. It has an articulated G# key with sliver activating key in lower section. There are a few professionally repaired cracks,one in the bell, one in the barrel, and one near the G# receiver area in the lower section, which is normal with the wood shrinkage, and sealed with the G# metal receiver - all 3 repairs are pictured in pictures, and can be zoomed in on, None of the aforementioned repairs leak whatsoever. Clarinet will need a complete overhaul/ repad, which may require pads, some springs, etc., however, it's a very mimimum investment for a clarinet of this magnitude.
