Up for sale is a vintage Paramount style A tenor banjo. The serial number dates this instrument to 1923. It plays and sounds excellent, with a strong, piano-like tone. It appears to be completely original, except for the washers that help hold each nut in place. It is missing 2 of the nuts, but the playability and stability are not effected. There's really not much to mention as far as damage. The fretboard and neck are in beautiful shape, and the tuners work perfectly. The sides of the resonator do show some discoloration, but nothing major. Overall, this is a truly beautiful instrument. Includes original case and Paramount tuning key.
