Fox Renard Artist Model 240 Wood Bassoon, Recently Produced + Nice Hard Case Up for auction is a recent Fox Renard Model 240 Wood bassoon in great condition. The Fox 240 is widely considered the best pre-professional bassoon available, and for the money you will not find a better instrument on the market today. Its intonation is superb and the beautiful lyrical tone is perfect for solo work, and will last a player all the way through college even as a music major. It has a serial number in the 32000 range, meaning it was produced around 2002. It is easy to play, still has that new bassoon smell, and is in great condition.
