1956/57 Vintage Gibson ES-225T archtop electric guitar 
The year on this guitar is approximate. The stamped numbers inside the body are as follows. ES 225T as the model. The stamped factory number is 76653  2. This example is a player with a really great vibe. It does have a few condition issues and changed parts. They are as follows: Changed tuners, (they are now Kluson single line) Non original pick guard, (Black plain plastic.). The input jack has been repaired and a washer has been added. The bridge is tilted toward the tail of the guitar. The tailpiece was probably switched out at some point. It is quite likely the guitar's original tailpiece was the Les Paul style wrap around trapeze type. In addition, the guitar has numerous cracks that can be seen in the pics. Some of the cracking is just surface and some go a little deeper in the plywood body. None of the cracks extend all the way through the wood. Guitar till feels very solid, has a phenomenal neck with Brazilian rosewood, and an incredible sounding original P-90 pickup. The neck is original with no repairs. From raunchy slide to blues to jazz, play it all on this economically priced 1950's Gibson from the golden years. The guitar will arrive in a vintage Gretsch hardcase. The is a very light 5.6 pounds.
