Bought by me (2nd owner) in Dec 1990Gibson Les Paul Custom serial no 73119561 built in Nashville in Nov 1979.Slim taper neck, fast low frets.Typical weight for the period (i.e. heavy!) approx. 10.5 lbsOriginal T-Top pickups (Pat 2737842) Neck measures 7.3k, bridge 7.9kEbony fretboard, maple neck. Mahogany body with maple cap.Nicely yellowed binding, usual wear and tear (Natural relicing!) for a 37 year old guitar. Some chips in the back of the headstock and buckle rash on the back all of which I've tried to capture in the photo's. More high quality photo's on file if required.Gibson rectangular hard case that came to me with the guitar. The only thing changed on the guitar were the stock Pots (300k volume & 100k tone) - replaced with an RS Guitarworks premium Vintage pre-wired upgrade kit which consists of 500k audio taper Pots, 500k tone Pots and paper in oil caps. Professionally installed by my guitar tech in 2011. Unbelievable difference, so much more openess and clarity - can't believe it took me so many years to make this simple but amazing upgrade. I'll include the original Pots for those who care about these things but seriously leave them in the parts box!A fantastic and versatile guitar that I've used to play various styles over the years but if Rock is your thing this thing just excels.
