Up for your consideration is a 2005 Gibson SG '61 Reissue. Pickups are recent PAF (original to this instrument). No headstock/neck repairs. Strung with new set of Pryamid Pure Nickel .010, .013, .017, .028, .038, .048 and intonated fine. Frets are in great shape, a lot of life left. Slim, wide and fast neck. ISSUES: Guitar is certainly playable as is but new nut is strongly advised. TP has been replaced with a GOTOH TP. There is some wood damage--not at all deep, mainly just surface-- to area around studs (please see pics) and has been touched up with Gibson touch up pen but it still shows a bit when strings and TP are off. Can't see as much when TP is on and in no way does this affect tone or playability. I just want to disclose everything and price reflects this issue. Headstock front isn't perfect looking (normal wear, cymbal ding or two) but absolutely no cracks or repairs there. Case is a Gibson USA black hard shell case but the main latch (the one with the lock) is broken but I believe can be fixed. No other issues. Please email with any questions. Sorry, available to bidders in the lower 48 states only. Thanks for looking. Again, PLEASE NOTE: Pickups are recent PAF style, not '57 Classics. Also, guitar is available locally so I do respectfully reserve the right to end auction in the event of a local sale. Thank you.
