Fender Deluxe American Fat Strat made in 1998, originally purchased at $1100 at a Guitar Center in 2000 (which was a lot of money for an American strat back then).  In great shape except for some minor scratching of the metal hardware, and a single tuner has lost some of the top layer of metal coating (still works great, though).  No scuffs on the back (I never wore a belt while playing it or did anything that might have scuffed it).  There's also a screw holding in the humbucker that's lost its threading, but that's a minor issue that's easily fixed.   Some features:
It has a LSR locking roller nut system on the tuners at the head of the guitar only (none on the bridge).  The bridge is floating, so it is a good guitar for players who like to use the tremolo arm (if you need to, you can just use the back of your hand on the bridge to add tremolo).  Really great system for staying in tune, and the strings have never had any problems with longevity.  The bridge humbucker pickup makes this guitar sound better than any strat I've played since.  The neck feels really nice, too, and has a very nice solid truss rod in it, which is outlined in dark wood.  Maintenance:
I never took it to any gigs, it just stayed at home with me.  It was often played and maintained -- I was a guitar store employee who set up and maintained hundreds of guitars over the years, so I knew how to adjust the truss rod and keep the neck from warping.  Also, I rarely used this guitar for anything that might have caused it damage. The hardshell case is included in the price of the guitar.I'm local to the Southern California region, please note this is LOCAL PICKUP ONLY.  I'm willing to meet halfway if need be or come to you if you live relatively close.  There is a photo of the serial number you can use to verify the guitar's on a serial number verification website (I would link one, but eBay won't let me).
