I have an old violin that was converted from a 4 to a 5 string back in 2009 by a luthier in Portland Oregon. I am told by a local shop, that the body is somewhere between 1820-1840's. Has a rich warm tone. I'm selling it because I have too many instruments as it is. I need to clear out my closet. The body shows size of ware, but that is to be expected for being almost 200 years old. Comes with an LRBaggs pickup built into the bridge for your gigging needs. It also comes with a simple case. It does not come with a bow.
