Petosa is a long-established producer of the finest instruments, and it is the only quality accordion manufacturer remaining in the United States. Petosa derives from Italian roots, and they use all the finest Italian materials (where applicable) to build their instruments. There is a lot of good history at their web site. This is a truly rare opportunity to get your hands on an excellent Petosa at a reasonable price. This Antico model for sale was reportedly manufactured in 1999. It is in absolutely superb, like-new condition, and it was also recently inspected by a certified Petosa representative - no maintenance needed.41 piano keys, approximately 19" (full sized) keyboard
120 bass buttons
4 treble reed banks, 7 registers + palm master, LMMM
5 bass reed banks, 0 registers (Antico models do not offer bass registers)
Mono pickups (mics) installed with single volume controlNotice the marvelous, exciting chrome Eagle grill! These grills are only found on certain limited Petosa models. The perfect bellows are specially decorated. The sound is amazing - powerful and rich! The registers make it possible to emulate many different styles of accordion sound. The mechanics are so much easier to manipulate than many other accordions - as you would expect from Petosa.Comes with an excellent case and straps, and a chest/bellows pad.Everything on this instrument operates perfectly. The bellows are 100% tight - you can't move them if no key is pressed - they are just like new, except they have just enough use to be nicely flexible (as they should be).The Petosa company web site just had two full-sized older Petosa Antico accordions listed at $4995 that sold very quickly. This one has more registers than those did, and they did not have the pickups installed. You almost never see a good full sized Petosa in this condition for sale at all (except for new, and they command a very high price) - they move very quickly.SHIPPING NOTE:  Local pickup recommended, after payment is made via eBay.  Willing to meet buyer within reasonable distance of greater Houston area.  I will pay a $50 cash rebate (for no shipping or travel costs) if buyer meets me in NE Houston area.
