-i almost selected 'new' as the condition, because the truth is that this drum is as close to new as you can get.-it's in better condition than most any drum you would find on display in a boutique drum shop.-the only sign of wear is on the surface of the batter head. it would appear the batter head is mostly just lightly soiled from brush-playing and light sticking. there is still a ton of life left in the stock head, which is a quality remo coated ambassador with the gretsch logo printed on it.-i acquired this drum in a trade, and i never played it, personally. the previous and only owner before me purchased this drum directly from gretsch as a custom order, and he obviously didn't use it much, at all. usually, these broadkaster snares only come with full kits. when i acquired the snare, the previous owner was keeping it in the original box and packaging (wishing now i had kept the box).-this thing is immaculate. you're essentially getting a brand new drum; a drum that is a rather rare find on its own.-in true vintage styling, this gretsch broadkaster is constructed using a 3-ply maple/poplar/maple shell. the inside of the shell is coated in silver-sealer. vintage label inside. vintage style micro-sensitive throw-off and adjustable butt plate. vintage muffler. vintage drum key holder. vintage hoops. everything vintage and using perfected modern production. -made in the USA.-14" diameter x 6.5" depth.-i would have kept this snare for myself, but i simply have too many snares at this point, including many vintage and 'holy grail' snares. you're going to LOVE this gretsch!
