The Electricord or Pianaccord was invented in the late 1940s by Ernest Bonvicini with Diego Gobi in Italy.
Bonvicini held the patent until the 1960s in the United States (he resided in Denver).
The L on the accordian stands for Lorenzo, Ernest's father's name.
After the 1960s other manufacturer's began making similar 'stand-up' type accordions.
This one is an original Ernest Bovicini, serial number 200.
This sale includes a copy of the original bill of sale (not pictured) in 1953 to a family in Lakewood, Colorado (a suburb of Denver).
It cost $1,000 in 1953, quite a hefty sum of money back then, I imagine.PACKAGING AND SHIPPING
I have experience shipping many accordions and other fine instruments.
