Wonderful example of a Rickenbacker 620-6 solid-body in the much sought-after COY ('Color of the Year') Blue Boy. This COY was only available for firm orders placed with the Rickenbacker Corporation in 2004. It then took time for orders to work their way through the production schedule, which explains why this guitar was actually built in late 2005, as shown on the jack-input socket.The guitar is in truly exceptional condition, with no dings, marks or discernible fret-wear - in fact it looks as if it has never been played. It comes with the genuine Rickenbacker OHSC (also in excellent condition) and all case candy, including unopened Ric cleaning cloth.The 'Blue Boy' colour does fade and turn slightly greenish when exposed to light and this example is no exception - however, as you can hopefully see from the photos, the extent of discoloration on this guitar is minimal and (just as importantly) is pretty uniform over the body.
