Uber-rare and long-discontinued Rickenbacker 650E Excalibur/Frisco solid body with through-body Maple neck, rare African Vermillion timber wings on the body & headstock, gold trim and Ric mini-humbuckers.  The vermillion wood has a limed fleck quality. Manufactured in May 1992 (Serial Number E5 7535), the guitar is in excellent condition for its age.  The gold finish on the bridge assembly has mostly worn off (it could be re-plated, if this bothers you) but there is only limited fret-wear and no noteworthy dings or buckle-rash.  It comes complete with its original Rickenbacker ‘Tolex-type’ case and the retained part of the original Warranty Card, verifying provenance.  The 650E Excalibur/Frisco (the name was changed due to a copyright dispute) was one of five 650 Series models which were produced by the Rickenbacker Corporation, comprising the 650D Dakota, 650S Sierra, 650A Atlantis, 650E Excalbur/Frisco & 650C Colorado – shown together in the final photo.  Only the 650C Colorado is still in production (the one in the photo is in Mapleglo), so the four discontinued models are becoming more difficult to source, particularly in Europe. In short, a very rare,  collectable and cool Rickenbacker.  There are very few examples of this Rickenbacker model on this side of the pond - even less in this condition!More photos to follow shortly
