For sale is a 2016 Gibson Les Paul Standard Faded plain top. Condition is near mint. There are 3-4 very small flaws, all located on the back of the guitar. I have taken a picture of each one for you to see. They are all very light impressions in the finish, with none through the finish. The rest of the guitar is absolutely flawless. This guitar has less that 6 hours of playing time and is loud, resonant, and sounds like a Les Paul should. The faded Les Paul series, since it's introduction in 2005, has been revered for being one of the most consistently excellent Les Paul models. The 2016 version, with its thin nitro finish, continues that stellar reputation.The guitar has a 50s neck that is a slightly on the thinner side for a 50s neck (but nowhere near a slim taper). It is full without being cumbersome - it is very comfortable.The guitar has modern weight relief and comes in at a very comfortable 8lbs 4oz. Equipped with 57 classic and 57+ classic pickups. The neck is straight and true, frets are 100% and the fretboard is nice and dark. It has a 2 piece straight grain back but is nearly impossible to see the seam. All the components on the guitar are original and unmolested. Has never been gigged and comes from a smoke free home. There is plenty of adjustment in the tune-o-matic bridge for whatever action setting you prefer.The pickguard in some of the pictures was removed to show the grain of the top, but will be installed before shipping. Included is the original brown Gibson hardshell case (which has 1 small white wallpaint mark) and all the case candy it came with, including the picture of the guitar from the Gibson factory.Please note that this guitar, while in fantastic condition, is used and as such, will contain the flaws mentioned above. It is described to the best of my knowledge and as accurately as possible. I want you to be fully satisfied and purchase with confidence.
