A beautiful 1970 Ventura Country Gentleman Style made in Japan Electric Guitar....It plays and sounds great!It even has the painted on F holes just like the Gretsches! Very cool guitar...
This is not the same Ventura I sold last month. My customer loved his. I have found and sold at least 6 of these cool MIJ guitars and my customers just love them. The pickups are very powerful and full of tone.
I sell a lot of these. Most are buying them as a reminder of the one they used to have, but these are also made to be played. I enjoy them a lot. I had one almost like it back in the 1970's! This one was owned by a Pro Player here in Des Moines that I sold it to a couple of years ago. He traded it in reluctantly as it wasn't getting much attention. He spent a bunch of money on it to have it refretted. Its in great shape now!All original but one selector know and the whammy bar. The rest is all original. The tuners work great and it stays in tune very well even with the vibrato tailpiece. Its a cool guitar. Just superficial dings and such on this beauty.Sorry, no case with this one. I ship like I like to receive. Lots of bubblewrap and guitar boxes so it will arrive as you would like near or far.... Now this guitar is uber cool but old and vintage so it is sold as-is no returns..but you will love it...check my Feedbacks..this one will not be an exception...the lucky bid winner pays $48 Shipping for the lower 48...I have been hand picking guitars for my customers for over 17 years now...Thanks for looking at our cool guitars here on Reverb.com ..Mike Lawman Guitars
