No scratches, chips, dings or buckle rash. I bought this new and have been the only player. I take very good care of all my equipment and this is an amazing bass for condition sound and playability. Neck through design, 24 frets active electronics and everything works as it should. All original. Comes with a hard shell case that is non original but protects it well. I tried to take pictures of it in different light and sometimes the overhead light shines on the finish but there are no flaws.
