This is a great set of vintage R13 clarinets (Bb and A) overhauled last year by Wesley Rice in fully restored condition via their professional overhaul service. The horns have SNs: 978XX and F992XX respectively, the "F" is indicative of the horn being tuned to 442hz however this horn plays perfectly in tune at 440hz. These horns were hand selected at RDG in LA in the late 60's under the instruction of Gary Gray at UCLA. They are wonderful examples of Buffets golden era.There are no cracks, pins or evidence of major repairs.I'm including 4 barrels, 2 original barrels, a Buffet Chadash and a Buffet Icon with Nickel ring. There are no mouthpieces, ligatures or caps included.The original case is in great condition (as pictured) even the leather exterior is in wonderful condition. US Bidders only.
