Fantastic 1962 Gibson B25. Professionally converted to Lefty! This B25 definitely has got the sweet vintage Gibson tone, without sounding boxy. This is like a mini J45. I took this guitar to Dave Dick at D String Guitar Repair in Sturbridge, MA. I had Dave remove the original pickguard and fashion double pickguards in a thinner tortoise material. He then repaired and refinished the top and applied the new guards. Dave also glued a small centerseam crack with HG192 and added spruce cleats to stabilize. He also removed the original adj hardware, filled in the bridge, routed it LH and installed a new Corian nut and bone saddle. The results are fantastic! I'm only selling it because I found an Advanced Jumbo and really wanted a bigger guitar.1 11/16" nut width - the B25s went to the thinner nut around 1964 so these are harder to findfrets have very modest wear and the rosewood fingerboard in good shapeneck has a couple of modest dings with good finish and is flat and straight There are some dings and nicks, lacquer spider webbing, and what appears to be a deep scratch at the upper edge of the lower boutoriginal tuners. Slight bit of oxidation/rust but they turn well and hold tuningNice low action. See photoOriginal adj hardware and pickguard are included (see photo)Original alligator case. Beat up and missing the handle, but it closes and looks cool!
