This is a very nice Ebony Boehm flute with Silver? keywork. The flute was made by Rittershausen in Berlin, Germany to be sold by Carl Fischer in NY. It has both marks on it. One advantage of the US market is that they were often making instruments at A=440 and this flute works well at that pitch for me. I has had a number of cracks repaired - I think mostly a fairly long time ago. They are pinned and glued. I have had the flute for almost 2 years and it has been completely stable. The “crutch mount” has also been removed at some point which most modern players find to be a good thing.The flute has a nice quality original leather case in better than usual condition.
