Here we have a totally lovely guitar. It is a MADE IN THE USA G&L S500 Custom Order. Build date is 29 February 2012 It has been pleked at the factory ( after market cost is $279 in Sydney) and is way above the quality of a Fender Deluxe. I have the original build sheet and the trem arm plus the screws and bushes. You won’t need another strat after buying this one. The G&L S-500 debuted in 1982 as Leo’s own evolution of the traditional double-cutaway bolt-on axe, delivering innovations including the Dual-Fulcrum vibrato and Magnetic Field Design single-coil pickups, each designed by Leo Fender himself. These MFD pickups deliver a bright and sparkly top end and robust bottom end, all without losing midrange focus. You’ll find plenty of punch in the MFD pickups and this S-500 includes a mini-toggle switch split the Seymour Duncan JB Trembucker spaced for Fender style guitars. Overall Condition This G&L S-500 is as new, in pristine mint condition, with absolutely no nicks, scratches, or blemishes of any kind. Specs ( Custom Build Sheet Included) G&L USA S-500 Clear Red over Swamp Ash Hard Rock Maple Neck Vintage Tint Satin Neck Finish Slim C Neck Profile - 1 5/8” nut width, slight edge roll, medium taper from 0.820” 1st fret to 0.870” at the 12th fret. Maple Fretboard 12" Fretboard Radius Schaller Locking Tuners 22 PLEK Dressed Frets Abalone Inlays 2 Magnetic Field Design Pickups and SD Trembucker Mini Toggle Switch – TB coil Split 5 Way Switch 3-Ply White Pearl Pickguard Dual Fulcrum Vibrato Bridge There is NO HARD CASE but I will pack this very carefully for freight.
