This is gonna be the nicest 1210 you ever come across. This originally came from a private home and audio enthusiast. It was taken apart and all circuits were cleaned and inspected. The top deck was sent to a automotive bodyshop and painted with a deep black (Mercedes 010) paint, then a layer of clear with kandyshop silver metallic flakes, and then several layers of clear overtop. I had reproductions of the original stickers made in silver metallic and applied before applying a final clear coat.  All lights were replaced with LED's. The start/stop button was replaced with an anodized red dial, while all of the top buttons (start/stop, 33, 45) were replaced with black anodized aluminum buttons. The pop-up light was replaced with a black anodized aluminum assembly with LED light.  The tonearm drop lever was replaced with a black anodized straight arm with a knurled end. The pitch control was replaced and in the process, the insert was painted the same as the top deck. The pitch slide knob is black anodized aluminum (original silver also included incase you want it to match the color of the silver pitch control buttons).  The tone arm assembly was cleaned and new lead wires installed. Comes with Technics silver headshell. The platter has a new stock Technics rubber mat.  Stock pieces removed are also being included. Cover hinges are included, but I opted to get rid of the clear cover since it didn't fit in on my shelf system design (they can be had on ebay for $50-$80 if you want to use one). This is an amazing looking unit, powers up and spins perfect, no issues at all. It's the perfect base to perform a few audio upgrades over time (external power supply, spindle upgrade, even a rewire of the tone-arm and termination in DIN cables instead of RCA). I built this for fun because I wanted something custom, and never used it (couldn't decide which needle to buy, and it's just sat here on the shelf while I've used my older unit). A used 1210 sells for $700, the paint on this was $600 alone, it truly is a striking looking piece that will sure to stand out in any system.
