L'Ampex 351 est équipé d'origine de connectique XLR M / F pour l'audio .
" Plug & Play " l'Ampex 351 est prêt pour enregistrer Voix, Gtr, Drums,etc...
Les caractéristiques mesurées avec un Audio Précision Porta One +
et une impédance de sortie de 150 ohms sont très bonnes ;
Entrée Micro / Gain maximum = + 93 db ! ( parfait pour des micros à ruban )
Entrée Ligne / Gain maximum = + 30 db ( Parfait pour Protools ou DAW )
Niveau de sortie maximum = + 30 dbu pour une distorsion de 1 % .
En position Micro avec un gain de 60 db, la distorsion n'est que de 0,14 %,
la Bande Passante à -3db va de 20 HZ à 24 KHZ
Le rapport signal / bruit est de - 62 dbu .
