Here's a vintage Marshall 2x12 speaker cabinet 8 ohm from the early 80's. it was professionally recovered many years back by jimmy frech of Mentalcase. Grillcloth recover to Marshall Black and Tan is an upgrade. we got to see that the cab walls are constructed from a solid inner layer pine and outer layer of birch- real wood! the baffle is birch ply. one speaker was upgraded to a 90's Celestion made in U.K. Greenback w/ the 6402 cone and other speaker is original Celestion made in U.K. 80's G12T-75. the speaker combination sounds amazing. This cab is a user friendly size and weight for gigging. dimensions: 24" tall x 24" wide x 12" deep. Weighs 42 lbs. castors we're installed upon recover but removed from bottom. Cab is light enough to not need them.
