Yanagisawa Professional T-990 Tenor Saxophone, Amazing Saxophone! Beautiful! Up for auction is a gorgeous Yanagisawa model 990 Tenor Saxophone. It is a dream Tenor. For those lucky enough to try one, they will understand what I mean. This tenor is an awesome instrument that has amazing depth in tone and snappy response. Unlike other Tenor Saxophone, which try to replicate past instruments, the model 990 is a truly modern tenor saxophone capable of flexibility, power, and near perfect intonation. If you want a great playing tenor saxophone, you owe it to yourself to try out this instrument. The action is great and it plays evenly throughout. I can’t say enough about how I love the way this horn responds. I’m sad to see it go, but I’m sure you will be able to let this saxophone sing like it should. It has been professionally adjusted to play for you right out of the box. Overall Cosmetically, it is gorgeous, with only a few issues I can mention. The lacquer is in great shape, but there are a few minor scratches in several location. The rim of the bell looks like it was professionally reset in the past, it is not very noticeable at all. Look at all the photos of this instrument to get a real understanding of the instrument’s condition. No mouthpiece comes with this horn because each player will have their own play style and will require a specific mouthpiece for their work. Includes a neck strap and tube of cork grease. It includes the original case in great condition and a case cover to go over it.
