This Roland TD-11K V-Compact Series electronic drum set delivers a natural and realistic playing experience to drummers of any skill level. The brand-new set itself was played with one time to make sure it works and sounds great(which they do), and it has very little wear and tear. The drummer can play this set with either a speaker or a set of head phones(Head phones and speaker Not Included)! Since the set does not come with any speakers or head phones , one will need either one or both of these items for the drum set to make sound.
Anyways, this set consists of: the Roland Td-11 sound module for a variety of applications, including practice, teaching, recording, live performance, and more. The set also includes a Roland Td-15/Td-11 Play-along Songs CD to enhance the experience. The PDX-8 mesh V-Pad for the snare features Roland’s amazing dual-triggering technology, resulting in accurate and even sensing between the head and rim. It offers an expanded 10" rim for more comfortable and quiet rim-shots. For toms, the three PD-8A durable 8.5" rubber pads offer super-accurate triggering and a time-tested design for years of reliable use. The CY-5 cymbal pad for the hi-hat features a 10" playing zone and natural swing movement. It also provides separate bow and edge triggering. With the FD-8 Hi-Hat Controller, drummers can get realistic hi-hat sounds with smooth transitions between open and closed positions. For the crash cymbals, the two CY-8 V-Cymbal Dual-Trigger Crashs have great response and a swinging motion to closely resemble true cymbals. It features bow/edge triggering and choke capabilities. It even has a new design to look more like real cymbals. For the base, the KD-9 base pad has a cloth-designed drum head and provides great feel, dynamic response, accurate triggering and solid playability even when using a double pedal. Unfortunately, it does not come with the base pedal itself. However, when I played with it, I was able to clamp an old Gammon base pedal(Not Included) to the pad and it worked terrific! So, you can probably use any type of base pedal on this pad, but you may have to find another way of attaching the pedal to the pad depending on which pedal you use. Lastly, the set also includes the Roland TD-11 Sound Module instruction manual, the building manuals, the other manuals and papers that came with this kit, a drum key, and a pair of Pro Mark 4A drumsticks that have been sanded down due to wear and tear.(Side Note) The drum kit will be shipped to the buyer in 1 large and 1 medium box.
