Estimated price for orientation: 599 $
Category: Electric Guitar
Class:
Description Brand: Silvertone Dexterity: Right-Handed Model: 1448 String Configuration: 6 String MPN: Does Not Apply Exact Year: 1965 Body Type: Semi-Hollow Country/Region of Manufacture: United States Series: Short Scale
Here I have an original Silvertone 1448 guitar. These are known as the "Amp in Case" guitars because the hardshell case they came with had a built in, low wattage, amplifier. This guitar does come with the original case and amplifier. I've gone thru the amplifier and it works like a charm. It even looks like the tubes are original. The paint on this guitar really sparkles. It doesn't look anywhere near it's actual age. I put a set of 10-52 gauge strings because of the shorter scale. There is some relief in the neck but it isn't noticeable unless you're playing the high string past the octave. I've uploaded a video just to show how well it really plays. This is a great guitar.
