The Recording King RK-36 is built around great mastertone banjos of the past. With the setup it receives from our in house banjo tech, the RK-36 will compete with banjos twice the price. With the 3-ply maple rim, one piece mastertone style flange and a cast bell bronze tone ring. Beautiful mahogany resonator and neck is finished with a brown gloss. The two-way truss rod and duel coordinator rods makes future setup an ease. The setup we perform on these banjos include tightening head, adjusting coordinator rods, setting tailpiece at right height and replacing bridge if necessary. Will ship with hardshell case. We also offer free install on 5th string spikes on all our new banjos. We recommend starting with the A and B position spikes which are at the 7th and 9th fret.
