Hello! Thanks for visiting our auction today. This auction is for the quantity of 1 Neumann U87 serial #19723 The microphone 🎤 is in excellent condition and works. It is one of the late 60's models manufactured which have become coveted collectors items. The unit has all its original components and does NOT appear to have been tinkered with by any service people. If you look closely at the pictures you may notice a small dent in the silver windscreen grill, most units of this vintage tend to have a similar issue. The dent in no way affects the functionality and can most likely be repaired by a specialist of the buyer's choice. I would recommend Mr. John Peluso as he has always done a great job in the past for several of our vintage microphones. The buyer will receive the mic, case, and aftermarket Peluso shock mount pictured above (short mic stand shown will not be included). We kept this mic in our smokefree studio for regular use since it's acquisition in 2013. The facility was recently closed so we are liquidating a few left over items. FYI most of the gear was sold already however anything we have left for sale will be listed on eBay during the next few days. Feel free to check back anytime. We understand that a mic of this expense is a substantial investment therefore we would be more than happy to answer any incoming inquires the perspective buyer may have. Upon close of the auction buyer must forward payment immediately. We will ship the Microphone and it's accessories well packed and insured for it's full value. If you are in New York City you may choose to pick up the unit once payment has cleared fully. Please understand that due to its vintage the unit is being sold "as is".
