Geneva Oldroyd Cardinal Bb Cornet- LacquerThe Bell of the stunning new Cardinal Cornet has a high copper content and nickel silver flare which helps to make the instrument sound very vibrant and singing-like, allowing the cornet to project more. It also has a more open taper from the mouthpiece receiver to the leadpipe which gives it an instantaneous feel.The Cardinal also boasts intricate engraving. Each cornet is hand engraved from the rim of the bell to the start of the crook and from the start of the leadpipe to the start of the tuning slide. This takes some eight hours of engraving from Master Engravers.This listing includes a hard-case designed especially for this instrument.
