Blues Angel Music is pleased to present this 1976 Gibson Les Paul Custom! This vintage guitar is Very Good to Excellent Condition for an instrument of its age, and 100% Fully Functional Condition! It looks, sounds and plays fantastic! See descriptions below and the 25 photos for more details. The guitar you see is the one you will receive! We invite you to view its pictures carefully, and to contact us with any questions you may have.BodyThe body has several small dings here and there, as documented in the photos. The back has moderate buckle rash, and the pickguard has moderate pick swirl. The Cherry Burst finish is BEAUTIFUL, and the gloss has held up very well over the years!NeckThe neck is straight and the frets show little wear. The frets are low-profile and finished very flat, making for a very "fast" feel! The decal on the back of the headstock reads, "LES PAUL-CUSTOM, MADE IN USA, 00118642," indicating it was made in 1976. There are a few light dings on the back of the neck, but no major wear.HardwareAll hardware appears to be original to the guitar! The Gibson tuners, stop-tailpiece and bridge are all in gold finish and show minor wear under close scrutiny. ElectronicsCTS pot codes are 1377605 indicate they were made in the 5th week of 1976. All electronics appear to be original to the guitar with the exception of the pickups, which are early model DiMarzio Super Distortions! The Neck pickup measures 13K output, while the Bridge pickup measures 13.5K output. CaseThe case appears to be original to the guitar and is in matching overall condition with its own share of light nicks and dings. One of the latches is broken, but the other 4 all work well! Both hinges are present and fully functional.
